How our booking system decides peak pricing

Transparency on rates: what counts as peak, why it exists, and how to play cheaply if you are flexible.

Kehan Padel Club · 15 July 2026 · 3 min read

Court pricing at the club is deliberately simple. Every court has a base hourly rate. Peak hours add an uplift on top of that base rate, and the booking page always shows you the final price before you confirm anything.

What counts as peak

Weekday evenings from 17:00 onward, plus all day Saturday and Sunday. Everything else is off-peak.

Why we do it

Between 18:00 and 22:00 on a weekday, demand for our six courts is roughly four times what it is at 10:00. Peak pricing spreads that load a little, keeps the 06:00 slots viable, and funds the coaching bursaries for the junior academy.

How to play for less

  • Book 06:00–09:00 — the cheapest, quietest and coolest courts of the day.
  • Take Court 4 or Court 6 instead of Centre Court.
  • Join as a Social or Performance member; the discount pays for itself at about six hours a month.
